The Black Mental Health Coalition is a community of black professionals working together to break the barriers and bias that exist within the community, while building bridges by educating and providing knowledge and evidenced based practices that will decrease the disparity and lack of hope. The Black Mental Health Coalition is a representation of Black culture: the Black Family. The Black Mental Health Coalition is on the front lines ready to assist in peeling away the layers, the layers of trauma and unresolved issues. We believe in our culture “Black Culture”. Each therapist on the team may come with a different therapeutic approach yet we all share the common goal. We have a vision of helping our culture create a life that manifests a quality of life free from being marginalized, shifted, and disconnected. We intend to embolden clients to dream and strive beyond their surroundings our believed limitations by empowering and evoking passion deserved to live a meaningful life.
